He was the Belgian footballer. Mees was often called as a Vicky or Vic. Throughout his sports career he played in Belgium national football team and Royal Antwerp FC. Mees made a number of football success: in 1955 the Belgian Cup, in 1957 Championship title, in 1954 he played in the World Cup and in 1956 won Belgian Golden Shoe.
