Jobs also previously served as chief executive of Pixar Animation Studios; he became a member of the board of directors of the Walt Disney Company in 2006, following the acquisition of Pixar by Disney.

Steve Jobs will for centuries to come be a central figure studied in college History courses. He changed the way the world communicates, and enhanced the lives of millions with his products, which were spawned from a combination of artistic passion, intellect, vision, and unyielding drive. He was a person unlike no other.
