Called as Sandy. He was an Australian Army officer - Major General. His military career spanned 36 years. His military career spanned 36 years. Pearson served in World War II and Vietnam War, earning honours in both conflicts. He served also in Singapore, was commandant of Royal Military College, Duntroon and chief of Personnel, Australian Army. He died at RSL Veterans Village in Narrabeen.
